Velox is available for phones supporting Java MIDP 2.0 and Android.

Java MIDP 2.0 phones

Java MIDP 2.0 enabled phones must support either JSR-82 (Bluetooth) or JSR-179 (Location API) to use either an external Bluetooth GPS receiver or an internal GPS (e.g. Nokia N95).

Make sure an external receiver supports the NMEA-0813 protocol and provides the $GPRMC sentence.

Installation:
For installing Velox on a Java MIDP 2.0 enabled phone you can either download the Velox directly to your phone using the integrated WAP/Web browser or download the installation files to your PC and install them on the phone using an appropriate software like the "Nokia PC Suite".

Download for phones with internal GPS:
velox2.location.jad, velox2.location.jar

Download for phones with Bluetooth GPS:
velox2.jad, velox2.jar

Direct download to phone:
Point your phone's WAP/Web browser to http://get.veloxgps.de
